Purpose of role:

Through Internal and External Communications, support APAC Marketing and PR Manager in elevating The Body Shop brand and support key business priorities across the APAC Zone.

Internal Communication: Strengthen franchise relationships and support business growth through effective and timely communication

External Communication: Drive PR excellence across the zone.

Primary Accountabilities:

Internal communication
  • Develop and manage monthly Zone meetings (Townhall)
  • Implementation and roll out of internal awareness events for brand attractors & key campaign launches.
  • Provide the International Communications Team with intelligence from the AP Zone (stories for the everybody magazine)
  • Organize conferences, forums and workshops required for franchisee motivation and engagement. Coordinate and work closely with Zone teams to compile the required content, provide them with the template and manage logistics to ensure seamless execution of conferences, forums and workshops.
  • Ensure all communication collateral is on brand through proofing
  • Act as the gateway for all broad-base Communications from the Zone Team to the markets
  • Identify and apply for relevant business awards at a regional level External communications

  • Support APAC Marketing and PR Manager in coordinating and managing large scale regional press/PR events e.g. key launches
  • Manage the media and customer queries process, providing responses to media and customers from across the region in a timely fashion, liaising closely with International divisions
  • Responsible for the PR reporting to BSI (PR results and event highlights across the zone)
  • Share best practices within APAC Zone team and with BSI
  • Maintain awards tracker for the APAC Zone
  • Support with key regional and international media events and competitions
  • Support with press samples process across the APAC Zone
Experience:
  • Working and communicating within a diverse, international trading environment
  • Working and communicating across different channels
  • Event management (i.e. Conferences) Qualifications:

  • Communications Degree Competencies required:

  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Strong appreciation of The Body Shop core values
  • Flexible approach to work with the ability to respond to changing business priorities
  • Ability to work cross functionally
  • Enthusiastic and motivated you will be comfortable working in a multi national/cultural organisation and fully understand the formal structures, politics, climate and culture that are integral to their operation
