Description
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
  • Collect and analyze all relevant production data then involve relevant teams to drive improvement projects on i) Yield improvement, ii) Run-rate analysis and iii) OEE improvement.
  • Review and align performance management KPIs from MBU levels 1 and 2 to level 3 KPIs, as part of site-wide goal alignments and drive improvement plans (e.g. A3 plans, Pareto analysis etc).
  • Facilitate Coaching Reviews with all MBUs across Tuas site with the goal of identifying areas for improvement and targeted action plans.
  • Drive the site-wide MBU culture to all teams and make them use the MBU meetings as a meaningful working platform to drive performance and resolve issues.
  • Facilitate Kaizen events to resolve safety, quality, and/or productivity issues as required.
  • Facilitate site-wide Multi-Level-Meetings (MLM) on a monthly basis, with full participation from all MBUs as much as possible and drive people engagement.
  • Participate in site-wide Hoshin planning, which must be aligned with L4 Hoshin planning on performance management measures and goals.
  • Administer and execute the “Lean Implementation Program” for Tuas site according to the agreed program, which must have clear timelines and standards of achievement.
  • Drive the 5S implementation site-wide through engagement of all MBUs and sustain the implemented culture.
  • Analyze data on all product SKUs produced in Tuas and be able to propose optimized production schedules to minimized downtimes.
  • Represent Tuas site to participate in monthly CI meetings.

Qualifications
Educational Attainment Requirement
  • Diploma or technical degree in related field of study such as engineering preferred.
  • Certification in Six Sigma, TPS or Lean with proven track record of driving continuous improvement required.
Professional background
  • Experience working with the FDA or other appropriate regulatory agencies preferred.
  • Experience in powder and liquid processing and packaging of food products preferred.
  • Must have good written and oral communication skills in English.
  • Must be energetic and a fast learner.
  • Proven ability to follow written and oral directions with precision.
  • Close attention to detail and experience with detailed documentation of task performed.
  • Proven ability to follow up and complete task in a timely manner.
  • Ability to work with minimal direction, in a team based environment.
  • Able to handle multiple tasks and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong problem solving skills.
  • Ability to facilitate large groups for training and problem solving.
