about the job

Our client is hiring a Sales Operations Analyst, APAC to drive and enhance our business effectiveness and performance. This individual will be responsible for analysing large sets of sales data for the set of assigned Accounts and thus interpreting the data in the form of proposed solutions, sales effectiveness to ensure the success of our team within the region.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Account Sales Teams, the Account Sales Operations Teams, as well as other key functional teams in terms of forecasting, pipeline management and understanding market conditions.

This role will report into the Sales Operations Manager who has an open management style and prefers the individual to be autonomous and solution focused. You will have the ability to decide on best course of actions and effective solutions. The team will be a team of 6. 

skills & experience required

The successful candidate will have demonstrated effectiveness working across multiple job families within the sales operations function that typically support operational or strategic activities including, but not limited to:
  • Pipeline / forecast / funnel management
  • Analytics for business decision making
  • Execute initiatives to ensure smoother for efficient sales processes
  • Partner with Account Sales, finance to ensure accuracy on analysis and reporting
  • Support end of quarter reporting and analysis, including invoicing process, etc
  • Generate weekly, monthly, quarterly reports using Excel and CRM systems 
  • Order management and reporting
  • Drive process documentation and improvements for assigned Accounts
  • Assist Account Sales Teams in rolling out best practices, especially on CRM management
  • Degree Qualified
  • Strong MS Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint knowledge is a pre-requisite; knowledge of macros is highly desirable
  • Experience utilising CRM systems
  • Strong technical aptitude for managing large data sets
  • Excellent communication skills - verbal, written, and presentation
  • Good negotiation skills; ability to influence without authority
  • Strong financial and business acumen
  • Ability to work under pressure, set priorities and meet tight timeline
Salary on offer will be circa $5500/basic - $6000/basic (neg) dependent on experience.
