You will be responsible for providing a fully integrated and proactive learning and development consultancy service to the Asia Pacific zone and partnering with the market trainers to roll out the L&D.

You will coach and implement The Body Shop's International Retail Academy initiatives to both our Franchise and Company markets.

Your primary job accountabilities will be supporting the business plan/objectives by working closely with key stakeholders to create and set a market learning and development plan including key training objectives, ensure capacity for product and event training at key times.

You will implement training initiatives from the Retail Acadamy, train the trainers on materials received from International Retail Academy, train Head Franchises and their trainers on store management and development.

You will proactively evaluate and measure all the training initiatives delivered across Asia Pacific Zone.

In this role, you will also support the Asia Pacific Zone Team in adapting and introducing policies and procedures in line with International learning and development best practice and ensuring compliance to our learning and development policies and procedures.

You will also partner the Human Resources Team to develop a learning and development strategy to ensure that this is aligned to business plan and facilitate departmental, team and business strategy events.

The requirements for this role: Experience: • At least 5 years’ experience within a Learning and Development/Training function.

• Comprehensive knowledge of all aspects of store operations & best retailing practices.

• Proven experience of developing, writing and implementing Management Development/Retail Leadership programmes and guidelines with a strong customer focused approach.

• Experience of creating training/operational materials with an appropriate tone for customer/staff interactions.

• React quickly within the retail environment.

• Knowledge of the beauty/toiletries industry would be highly desirable.

Qualifications: • Degree in a related discipline (i.e.

Human Resources, Learning and Development, Business Operations) • Additional qualifications in Management Development/Leadership Skills would be an advantage.
