AVP/Team Lead, HR, Human Resource Operations (Mobility, Compliance & Training Admin) - Foreign Bank

 

 

Job Overview:

 

The Human Resources Department (HRD) is responsible for all personnel matters of employees based in Singapore. The department provides strategic and operational support to line management and employees in the full spectrum of human resource functions and services including recruitment, compensation and benefits, mobility management, staff engagement and performance management as well as training and development.

 

They now have an opportunity to bring in a new team member to join the Shared Services Team. Our Shared Services Team comprises of Recruitment, Mobility,
Compliance and General Administration as well as Training & Staffing Administration.
 

 

 

 

Job Description:
 

·        Partnering the Senior Manager (SVP) of Shared Services to manage and supervise the following teams:>> Staffing and Training Administration Team 
This team provides the full suite of administrative support to the staffing process commencing from Recruitments through to Departures which will include all staffing processes such as
confirmations and transfers. It is also in charge of managing training applications as well as the training funding process.
Supervisor will need to support the team as they deliver their responsibilities by checking their work (e.g. letters) and ensure processes (e.g. data entries, required tracking sheets, reports) are all completed timely and accurately.
>> Mobility Team
This team manages the application of work passes such as EP, SP, training and dependants' passes and prepares all related reports in this area etc)
Supervisor will need to partner the team to manage the mobility in the Bank with the HR Business Partners. Managing the approval processes and ensuring that all passes are handled within guidelines and deadlines stipulated.
>> Compliance Team
 This team follows and ensures the policies in HR is in line and adjusted to new internal and external regulations. The supervisor will support the team to clarify compliance requirements and for new requirements to plan implementation plans. For existing requirements, the supervisor will be a checker and a guide to ensure HRD complies with requirements.
·        Supporting and leading projects and tasks assigned to improve not only in own area of work but also within HR. This would involve beyond just maintaining current state but also proposing ideas, such as using and bringing onboard technology to improve processes.

 

 

 

Job Requirements:

 

At least 2 years of experience managing a team in at least one of the areas mentioned above.
The belief in being a team-player, drive to complete tasks, meticulousness with a can-do and will-do attitude are attributes that will help the candidate perform successfully in this role.
